Miss H Mitchinson, Careers Education Coordinator in school offers impartial careers information advice and guidance to students and supports the Careers Lead, Mr Marc Tyzack in coordinating careers education for all students.
All Year 11 students will be invited to an individual careers guidance interview to discuss their future plans with an external impartial careers adviser. This will include the opportunity to discuss their career aims and post-16 options after their GCSE examinations. Support is available for students when applying to Further Education Colleges, Sixth Form Colleges, Apprenticeships and Training Providers or when seeking employment with training.
Careers guidance interviews are also offered to students in Year 9 when they are making their GCSE option choices and in Year 10 when undertaking their work experience. Students from all years are welcome to speak to Miss Mitchinson about careers information advice and guidance at break times and lunch times.
