Independent Learning Subject Specific Masterclasses/Workshops Higher Education Clubs Working with Others Students claim points for activities completed that lead to an award at 4 different levels; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Being part of the Scholar Award has had a positive impact on me. I attended the Law taster session at Prior Pursglove College and it was good because I got to see what the law course is like. The Scholar Award has made me more keen to try new activities and get involved with extracurricular activities and trips. Being park of the Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial team has been one of the best experiences of my life and has inspired me to maybe take a career path towards law. I got involved with the trip to Teesside University which was really educational so I could see what it was like because I’m thinking of going there after college which will be ages away! I thought the visit to Tudor Croft was great because I was able to learn a little bit about the local history that I never would have thought it was liked to it and potting the plants was great fun. I really enjoyed reading the poems and admiring the stunning artwork in the Lost Words exhibit at Kirkleatham Museum. I also learned a lot about the history of our local area. Best thing I have ever done with school!
