Employer Engagement at Laurence Jackson School
Laurence Jackson School has developed strong and lasting partnerships with employers across the local area and the wider Tees Valley.
Each year, employers are invited to attend our Annual Careers Conference, where they provide students with valuable insights into career pathways, salaries, labour market trends, and training opportunities across a wide range of sectors.
Our well-established Work Experience and Making Opportunities programmes offer students the chance to gain first-hand experience in real working environments. These opportunities allow students to learn directly from professionals, develop essential employability skills, and participate in a formal Mock Interview process.
We are proud to work in partnership with our Business Enterprise Adviser, Heather King (Anglo American), who plays a key role in supporting the delivery of our Careers Education Programme.
