Laurence Jackson - Ofsted Good
When Ofsted visited in June it was a real privilege to show them how great our school has become. The report rightly recognises how proud leaders and staff at school are of the work that has been done to improve the school and to ensure that it provides a positive and well-rounded educational experience for students.

“Leaders and staff have worked closely with pupils to bring about rapid improvements at this school”

We are particularly pleased that some of the things that we believe make Laurence Jackson the school it is, for example our sport and music provision and our personal development curriculum have been every positively recognised. This report recognises this and highlights the relationship between staff and students as well as the support offered to students who are vulnerable or who have additional needs.

“The school’s work is making a positive difference. In exercise books, pupils, including those with SEND, produce high quality work”

These evident and significant improvements have been made possible because of our wonderful students who have worked with us and embraced the changes that have helped us move forward, the support of parents and carers and the expertise of Vision Academy Learning Trust.
